An under water shot of one of Augo’s Bowhead whales he has been recording. Bowhead’s have slowly returned to Disko Bay but kept their distance during the years of the commercial hunt between the 16th and 19th Century.  Bowheads have started using the Northwest Passage as it begins to open up due to climate change. This will connect the Whales from two populations of the Atlantic and Pacific oceans that have been separated by ice for close to 10,000 years.
